About the Book

Except for Revelation, no book in the New Testament exalts the Lord Jesus Christ more than the letter to the Hebrews.  In fact, the theme of this letter is The Superiority of Jesus Christ.  This study guide is designed to highlight that theme and help the student understand the purpose and content of Hebrews and the manner in which the author of Hebrews developed that theme for his audience.

Eubanks gives a measure of exegesis in exposing the text, while Shannon provides application of that text to the everyday life of the student.  This work takes a simplified approach to what many consider on of the most difficult letters in the New Testament to exegete, it should be especially helpful for Bible School teachers, ministers, Bible study groups, and any individual who just wants to understand the New Testament better.
