About the Book

Claire Winslow knows exactly what she wants in a man—someone educated, polished, wealthy—and Stoney Parnell is none of those things.  Although she is growing fond of his motherless little boy, she won’t allow herself to become involved with the handsome rodeo rider.

Stoney wants nothing from Claire except her help to achieve his dream of buying a ranch and acquiring security for himself and young CJ.  His dreams of romance died with his late wife, and his only loves now are his son and the rodeo.

So why do Claire and Stoney find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other?  And how can they overcome grief, guilt, and just plain stubbornness, and find a way to be together?

About the Author

Alley Robinson was born in Kansas and grew up in various towns and cities across the United States.  She has worked as a farmhand, salesclerk, museum docent, social worker and web analyst.  Although she has written several romance and suspense novels, Lasso the Moon is her first novel about the rodeo. She fell in love with the rodeo at a young age, and returns to it whenever her busy schedule permits.  Alley and her husband live in a fishing village on Chesapeake Bay with their dog and three cats.
