About the Book

At last, internationally reknown artist, writer, and raconteur, Patrick Sart beings forth his 1Volume of poetry and art, “SHOE EXOTICA & POEMS, VOL I”. Amongst these pages readers will find BALM for their aesthetic souls - not only for unusual poetry if they care to read, or if not but also, to peruse his bizarre drawings of footwear. As strange as it may seem”, says Patrick, “there is something for al book collectors in this volume no matter what their taste in shoes or poetry may be. I guarantee it!” Also, not one to just “toot his own horn”, P. Sart introduces the work of Charles Carroll in an addendum that presages much more in the soon to be published Vol. 2. His writing offer an interesting take on Hollywood’s many productions on Films. Some call it slop for the masses of TV time with a sacred touch.

About the Author

Some call Patrick Sart a visionary in regards to his extraordinary does designs and also, perhaps  for his jumbled poetry; but, there can be no doubt he has drawn on his internationally acclaimed background in art and diplomacy to bring forth this well spring of creativity.

A native of Los Angeles, California, PS. graduated from UCLA and found early success with an unprecedented one man show of paintings in Hamburg, Germany in 1987.  Always on the move, he formed an axis of influence between Japan, and Paris, France where he lived for several years while still maintaining a residence in LA and, also a large studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, and most recently a desert hideaway in Palm Springs, CA.  His work hangs in collections around the world.

Say Patrick, “I feel fortunate to have so many cultures inform my work, and regard, “SHOE EXOTICA & POEMS VOL. I” a scintillating footnote to an ever expanding ocuure.”
