About the Book

The author was inspired to write this book by her son. After receiving a puppy the author realized how few books are available that teach preschoolers about potty training – let alone how to become involved in basic puppy training. Peyton Wolfe teaches young children how to begin developing a positive bond with the new puppy, while at the same time learning self-awareness of their own responsibilities. “NOT IN THE HOUSE!” is a precious story that helps young children through their potty training and the new puppy through house breaking. About the Author

Peyton Wolfe resides in Ohio with her husband and 3-year-old son. The author grew up on a small farm and has over 40 years of experience in working with animals, especially the German Shepherd dog. She understands the importance for children to grow up learning about compassion towards other animals and the responsibility of caring for their pets. The bond between a child and their first puppy can be a positive learning experience. A special bond that will be remembered fondly throughout a person’s childhood and into their adult years as the precious memory of their first real friend – The Family Dog.
