I Am The Same God From Genesis to Revelation

About the Book

A beautiful day it was, perfect in every sense, for this day lives were commissioned to change one way or the other.  Three men set out to speak the Word of God, to any and all who would listen; many would listen, some would scoff, fuss and rail, whilst others would listen intently with life-changing effect.

Boldly an 85-year-old deacon, Deacon Joe Fish, a 65-year-old pastor, Pastor Willie James, and a 45-year-old pastor, Pastor Francis set out to Ellis Square, with the full knowledge that God would deliver His Word to all, in spite of the opposition they would face; they did this willingly, with heartfelt expectations of favorable results.

Three generations of preachers, each with a pertinent message; using scriptures from the Good Book, will touch lives most profoundly so this day.

They carefully, skillfully, and lovingly, with compassionate truth guide each listener, starting with the book of Genesis, explaining how this world and life began, with God’s love at the center piece of His creation, and how man chose his own path, he thinks, to where we are today.  Skillfully, guided by the Holy Spirit, they will use scripture to show a better way to live, as life’s daily follies play out, like a symphony, with God’s Word as the way, the truth and the life!

But not to worry, they preached, God’s love is still prevalent; salvation is available to all!  They had one simple message, Jesus is the Great I AM, the same God from Genesis to Revelation!

About the Author

I remember as a young boy how much I used to love to tell stories, but most of all, with profound joy, I remember how much people used to love to listen to my storytelling.  I grew up in a family of story tellers; my aunts, uncles, and cousins were great story tellers.  I used to sit and watch my dad; the master story teller in action!-believe me when I say he was awesome. I was blessed with the ability to be animated, with uncanny ability to sing and mimic the attributes of movie stars as well as musical stars; hitting the high and low notes.

As I grew to adulthood my love for storytelling has not dwindled one iota. One thing that has stayed with me throughout my entire life is my belief in and love for my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus!

As a pastor, and a graduate of Northwestern Theological Seminary, I have a Bachelors and Masters in Theology, with a Doctor of Divinity.  As a preacher, my love for storytelling has increased tremendously, for what can be greater than talking about God, blessed with the opportunity to tell the Greatest Story of all; our God Who loves us dearly, even unto death on the cross for the salvation of mankind!  To tell the story of our Living God, Who defeated death when He rose from the dead on the third day!

As I was driving home one evening, and while in prayer my Lord told me to write this book; He gave me the title “I AM The Same God From Genesis To Revelation”, for He said, “There are many who are confused about this”; I agreed and complied.

I have never sat in a class to learn how to write a book; neither did I solicit advice from any established writer. I simply sat down at my computer, prayed before each session and wrote as my Lord, Jesus Christ led me!  This book is the end result of those amazing moments I spent with the Holy Spirit.  This book has taken me on a journey of no return; return, that is, to a world of self, but instead to this world as a servant – eager to share His amazing love with you!  I know in my spirit, that as an obedient servant to my Lord, you will fully experience those precious moments He shared with me!  I now realize all that storytelling was preparing me for this day.
