" Hi Karen, " Larry said.
" Hi Larry. "
" I need to take that arrow out. "
" Yes, I know. "
" It’s going to hurt a lot. "
" I know. Just do it Larry. Now you can get even with me for when I sewed up your leg a few years ago. "
Larry just smiled and pulled off his belt.
" Here Karen. Bite down on this while I pull the arrow out. I need to snap the end of the arrow off first. It’s an old arrow, so I can’t just unscrew it. It’s going to hurt, but I have to do it. I don’t want to pull that broad head back through your shoulder. Are you ready? "
She nodded her head up and down and closed her eyes. Larry snapped the end off of the arrow, and Karen clamped down on the belt pretty hard. Larry knew it hurt, but it was going to hurt worse when he pulled the arrow out. He got a good grip on the arrow shaft, and pulled the arrow out as fast as he could so it wouldn’t be quite as painful. Apparently it was still a little more than she could stand, because she passed out.
Susan said,
" That’s probably the best thing that could have happened Larry. Now she’s relaxed and not feeling any pain. At least not right now. "

About the Author
Larry Radecki lives just outside the small town of Clifford, in the state of Michigan. He has been a machinist most of his working life, but has also done some construction work during that time. He was born in Pontiac Michigan, June 28th, 1956. He has no wife or kids at this time, but he knows if God has other plans, that could change some day.
He loves to write in his spare time, and would love to make writing his career, and get out of the machinist work completely. He has written several poems and several songs. He has also written one other book before this one that he is very proud of. ( He Promised Them All ) The two books are his greatest accomplishments in the writing field, and he would love to continue writing more of them. He wants to give the public some-thing that they would enjoy reading, and he believes both of his books will do that.
