About the Book
This is the story of childhood friends who helped each other in their battles with cancer. One survived and the other left this planet to become a star. Their deep and intimate friendship conquered time and space through some of the most difficult challenges that life has to offer.
About the Author
Robert Monahan is the father of the story's survivor. He is currently the president of a youth agency in NYC, former manager of the NYC Ronald McDonald House and high school teacher. He has been married for 32 years, has 3 adult children and lives in Glendale, NY.
Mr. Monahan was privileged to have witnessed, along with Peter J. Hayes' family, the everlasting bond of friendship that develops between best buddies during some of life's most challenging moments.
