"DEATH MUST WORK IN YOU"
The time was 3:27 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2005. The Holy Spirit awakened me. His very words to me were, "The anointing produces death in you." Death is the single most important work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The only way to come alive to all that God has is through death to self. Paul the Apostle said, "I die daily." I Corinthians 15:31. Death is a daily process. If you are self-willed, the process of death can never work in you.
"JESUS AND THE ANOINTING"
Scripture reveals in St. John 3:34 that Jesus received the anointing without measure. This was John the Baptist's testimony of Jesus. Acts 10:38 states, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Jesus was subject to his Father. He did nothing on his own, John 6:38 proclaims of Jesus, "For I came down from heaven not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me."
Jesus learned to obey his Father through the things that he suffered. He could have taken the least form of resistance and avoided the cross, but think of where we would be. I Peter 4:12 tells us, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trail which is to test you, as though some strange thing happened unto you." Every thing that you go through is to make you stronger. Most of us don't like pain and discomfort, but it's necessary in our spiritual development. The greater the trial, the greater the anointing and the blessing.

Remember, that the Holy Spirit lives in you, but he can't get through you until you allow him to.

? Brain surgery (found an inoperable, golf-ball sized tumor embedded in the occipital area of the brain);
? Open-heart surgery (removed liter of fluid); and
? Transplanted kidney extracted (infected, nerf football size enlargement).
