Welcome To Armageddon

The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labor which he takes under the sun [Ecl 1:1-3]? I saw a poster by an unknown author that said “in a hundred years it will not matter what car you drove, what cloths you wore, what job you held”; because all is vain. It is revealed that the world passeth away, and the lust thereof [1 Jn 2:17], so when all is said and done, where is the gold your soul lusted after? The career you worked for—did the grave acknowledge it? The ball game you won—how did it profit you? So instead of preaching about me and what job I have attained or what trials I have gone through, it is my goal you understand Scripture; because, it is not in contradiction and it is the truth. In fact in second Corinthians chapter eleven Paul was distraught by those who exalted themselves; whereby, they spoke primarily of their trials, tribulations, and conversions in an attempt to gain praise from people. Jesus in John seven, verse seventeen through eighteen took that a step further and said this is how you will know if the doctrine is true because when they speak of themselves it is not a teaching inspired by God. Subsequently we will examine godly men who have lived throughout the ages—men such as David, Lot, Moses, and Abraham, as it is indisputably known that these were men of God, and by their lives I will prove the Word of God is truth. Because all these things [stories found in Scripture] happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition [1 Cor 10:11]. And by examining Scripture in this way we will discover the reason God created mankind,the alpha, and how it will end, the omega.
