Prophecy is history written in advance. Only God can do that as only He knows the future. Prophecies and their fulfillments were given to man to prove that God knows what He’s talking about and that mankind should pay attention to what is in store for this world.
One of the most difficult of God’s Attributes for man to understand is His Infinitude. In his book, The Knowledge of the Holy, A. W. Tozer writes: “The mind looks backward in time till the dim past vanishes, then turns and looks into the future till thought and imagination collapse
from exhaustion; and God is at both points, unaffected by either.”
Since God created everything, He created TIME, and as its Creator He is outside of time and not subject to its limitations. We have a Past, Present and Future, but with God time is NOW!
There are hundreds of prophecies in the Bible pertaining to events, nations, people, etc. Of the 377 prophecies in this work pertaining to The Messiah, Jesus Christ, almost
60% were fulfilled at His First Coming as SAVIOR. The remaining 40% will be fulfilled at His Second Coming as REDEEMER.
An attempt has been made to identify as many Messianic prophecies as possible. Surely some have inadvertently been missed. Each prophecy was quoted in order from Genesis to Revelation. Some are repeated because they were repeated in His Word.
The prophecies are quoted in bold italics. Their fulfillment or disposition is in standard type. The asterisks indicate those prophecies which have already been fulfilled.
The approximate dates of the prophecies beginning in the Garden of Eden around 4000BC and ending on the Isle of Patmos about 100AD are from Ussher’s Chronology.
Fulfilled prophecy serves to insure the validity and accuracy of the Scriptures as the Word of God.
His invitation is and always has been to recognize His Son Jesus as the Messiah and to come to Him while there is still time.

About the Book
The Old Testament was written with the primary purpose of pointing the way to the coming Messiah. The New Testament was written with the primary purpose of identifying the Lord Jesus Christ as the Messiah.
This work of prophecies pertains to the First and Second Comings of Jesus. He came the first time as Savior, He will come again as Redeemer.
All of the Old Testament prophecies per-taining to His First Advent were fulfilled.
There should be no doubt in the reader’s mind that those pertaining to His Second Coming will likewise be fulfilled.
God has left His Word with mankind so we can see what is in store for us and hopefully turn to Jesus as Messiah before it’s too late.
