The Sound of War follows seven heroic people in their pursuit of freedom across the battle ridden geography of the American Revolution. Six men and a small girl learn to work together for a common goal, freedom of country. Learning from each other and, in the end, learning the price of freedom, these people make their mark in history. A fictional account of the American Revolution near the end of the war, this book will capture it's audience with warmth and heart, a tear jerker to the last.
About the Author
Sarah Haymond and Bretley Roche reside in near by neighbor hoods in
They enjoy hiking, camping, horseback riding, sports and church activities. Sarah is a sophomore at California State University Bakersfield where she competes actively in Track and Cross-country and plans on transferring to Masters University her junior year. Sarah plans on becoming a full time overseas missionary. Bretley is a freshman in High School and hopes to attend college at Notre Dame. Bretley enjoys playing Roller Hockey and is on the Swim Team.
Since young children Sarah and Bretley have enjoyed writing and have written numerous short stories. Their joint interest in the Revolutionary War led them to pursue a story line in that time period.
