Introduction
“TO LIVE IS TO LEARN; TO GIVE IS TO EARN."
Each moment of your life is a moment of ultimate choice. Life is a never-ending challenge for good and for bad. Vested in you and each human being is the ability to choose the one or the other.
The good pathway is Chung Doe, leading to greater harmony, balance, integrity, peace, joy, trust, honor, togetherness, and light. Travelers on the Chung Doe pathway have a clear vision of the future. They follow the straight course of principle and honor in their climb toward In Gan, the highest form of humanness. That is the ultimate objective.
Since civilization the law of nature has existed and, for many centuries, masters have taught others and passed down a system of moral principles known as Moo Doe—the master key of wisdom that unlocks the gateway to extraordinary internal and external strengths (mentally and physically) and the highest level of spirituality. Moo Doe is the road map for accomplishing eight vitally important life goals, which are:
- Learning to know your “true” self;
- Making correct daily choices;
- Overcoming Doe Chi (being drunk with one’s (your) own ideas and thoughts);
- Cultivating good seeds to leave behind for your family;
- Attaining honor;
- Changing your reality for the better;
- Becoming a living vessel of wisdom (being a role model for your family and others); and,
- Drawing on nature’s limitless power through Nae Gong (“wind, fire, and water”).
These eight vital life goals are present in each chapter to form the heart of The Master Key of Wisdom. The sum total adds up to an "infinity" of benefits over your lifetime and over the lifetime of your children and the coming generations. Thus the master key is represented by the sign of infinity, displaying the eight symbols of the system.
The Living Dialogue
Each of the chapters in The Master Key of Wisdom is organized around a dialogue between Grandmaster Borion and his student. You are invited to participate in these short dialogues as the invisible, silent partner. Traditionally, only a select few humans in history have been able to learn directly from a grandmaster. The secrets of Moo Doe were passed down only to humans with the unique capacity and strong character to become a grandmaster themselves. Such selectivity applied also to the mysteries of the healing arts (including, but not limited to movements, meditation methods, and herbal uses) that were so effective in preserving a royal line of descent.
Now, as we make the transition into a new century and into a new era where the highest ideals and practices of East and West are flowing together into a greater whole. For the first time, this age-old system is being made available to everybody.
Ultimately, the objective is to extend the teaching and healing to foster increased well-being and better our lives as well as the lives of others.
