About the Book

On February 12, 2004, I decided to express my thanks to God for one thing every day, for which I was grateful.  The world was full of bad news and naysayers, and it was important to me to remember all of the goodness and beauty with which God fills our world. I have written a Thank You meditation every day since then.

About the Author

Edie Ledee-Finnerty is a graduate of the State University of New York at Purchase College, New York. She is a poet, fiction writer, composer, lyricist and singer. She grew up in Catskill, New York and now lives in White Plains, New York. Edie is married to Eugene Finnerty and has two children, Qui Qui and Louis, and three grandchildren, Ryan, Craig and Teresa; the joys of her life. She has been assistant program director for the White Plains Coalition for Cultural and Racial Harmony since 1993, and founded and directs their official chorus, Musaic. She also is founder/director of  Garden of Life Children’s Chorus, and won the prestigious Marish Award given by the city of White Plains New York’s Human Rights Commission. She gives private instruction in piano, voice, music theory and poetry, and believes that artistic gifts are simply our way of reflecting God, the great Creator, and shedding His light.
