Once upon a dream in a faraway place reached by following

special citizens.

One evening Mr. Hop-to-it blasted his horn and his comrades
scurried to where he so boldly stood.
"We must go to the tower and become village heroes.
We will solve this mystery and show everyone our
extraordinary bravery."
So off they went for their once in a lifetime adventure.

About the Book
A butterfly, beetle, ladybug, spider, and grasshopper are best friends and enjoy many activities together. One of their adventures proves to be quite dangerous, but magical moments and friendship save the day.
Besides a surprising plot, social lessons can be learned from the story. The book is also intended to enrich vocabulary and stimulate the imagination. It was written especially to appeal for those in grades K-3.
About the Author
Patti lives in Idaho where she taught grades ranging from first through high school.
After 38 years of teaching she now enjoys
writing and illustrating books.
She and her husband had fun illustrating
the animals in The Village Heroes and hope
the characters put smiles on many faces.
Patti also enjoys music, reading,
remodeling her home, traveling, and
part-time teaching.
