Hurt
We could have been the answer to one anothers prayers
Instead i m sitting here wondering if anyone cares
We almost met in a difficult situation
For once two stars in our own constellation
Both been damaged good
Neither able to do what we should
Two souls full of spite
Our demons thrived in a continual night
Parting now thinking of damage limitation
It cuts i wont be her regeneration
Knowing another will take my place
Its a cruel truth i struggle to face
Hurt and pain pain and hurt
With the sweetest dreams we did flirt
Unfulfilled feeling annihilation
Twisted and cruel with frustration
Was it real or was it a dream
Are these feelings as necessary as they seem
Frustration resentment regret and fear
My blind hope has cost me dear

About the Book
This book consists of themes centred around lust, apology, hope, despair, ambivalence and sometimes God. Each poem reflects an attitude held in the moment of writing, some use poetic license, some are a creative reaction to a particular person. But each one is born from an emotion held by the author.

This book has been composed over a twelve month period of frustration and ambivalence experienced by the author. This, his first attempt at poetry, is a significant attempt on his part to share and to change his world.
