A REAL MAN CAN CRY
HE'S NOT ASHAME TO SHOW EMOTION
HIS LAUGH WILL MAKE YOU SMILE
BECAUSE HE'S ALL ABOUT TRUE DEVOTION
HE WILL WORK BY THE SWEAT OF HIS BROW
TO BRING HONEST MONEY HOME
HE APPRECIATES WHAT HE'S BEEN BLESSED WITH
SO HE FINDS NO NEED TO GO OUT AND ROAM
A REAL MAN, EVEN WHEN HE IS TIRED
WILL MAKE SURE HIS WOMAN IS SATISFIED
EVENTHOUGH SHE IS SAFE AND SECURE
HE KNOWS SHE WANTS TO FEEL GOOD INSIDE
HE'LL CUDDLE AND HOLD HER CLOSE
AFTER HOT, PASSIONATE LOVE IN THE SACK
HE WOULDN'T DARE LIGHT A CIGARETTE
OR ROLL OVER AND TURN HIS BACK
A REAL MAN WON'T SUPPRESS HIS FEELINGS
HE'LL OPEN UP AND CONFIDE IN HIS GIRL
BECAUSE TO HIM SHE IS TRUSTWORTHY
AND IN HIS HEART SHE IS HIS WORLD
HE WILL MAKE HIS WOMAN FEEL LOVED
ANY AND EVERY WAY THAT HE CAN
BUT SHE HAS TO BE A SPECIAL LADY
TO MAKE HIM WANT TO BE A REAL MAN

About the Book
The author's creative efforts have once again produced more heartfelt words of inspiration. These pages of poetry, consisting of 44 poems, are truly shared in hopes that your heart and soul will be touched. Each poem simply tells a story. Some are based on personal experiences, while others on her imagination. She still speaks of family/friends, love/romance, poignant/spiritual, and reflections/relationships.
She only hopes that you will be touched to a degree that you can hold your head up and know that you are somebody no matter what you've gone through in life. It doesn't make you any less than anyone else, only stronger.
So look to the hills from whence cometh your help, because when God's got your back, you can overcome anything!
About the Author
Sabrina Houston has once again expressed her thoughts and feelings on paper, thus producing Poetic Eyes II. She is also in the process of publishing her third book, Precious Princess. It is a children's book in memory of her loving Pomeranian of 10 1/2 years.
Sabrina was born a California Girl, but has become a Southern Gal, now residing in Louisiana. She is still single, sassy and satisfied for the moment , yet truly desires a soul mate in the near future.
Eventhough her present occupation as a Billings Clerk keeps her busy during the day, she spends any quiet time she can writing poetry. She also enjoys reading romance novels, karaoke, horseback riding, swimming, skating, bowling, and hanging out with friends and family.
Her spiritual nurturing includes her membership of a Christian Organization (Reach-Out) that helps those in need. She is also a Youth Sunday-School Teacher, Secretary, Bible Study Assistant, and Choir Member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
