I can’t forget dear Joseph.
He’s my grandpa, too.
He had a coat of colors;
I imagine lots of blue.
His brothers were so jealous
They threw him in a hole.
They sold him to a traveler.
That’s how the story’s told.
But, God, he still protected him.
He led him by the hand.
And he became a leader
In
A famine scarred the country.
No food was to be found.
Except for Joseph’s store of food,
Which saved them, all around.
The people flocked to
To get the food therein.
And Joseph was united
With his family and his kin.
