About the Book

Hi Folks,

One day while I was out grazing near a stream in New England I came across a little girl who was trying to express her views about life to her dad. Now don’t get the wrong idea! I’m not one of those nosey mooses. However sometimes I must admit I do get a bit curious, besides it all sounded quite interesting. So I did what any wise old moose would do. I poked my antlers out, flicked my ear up and tuned in.

As I was listening, the little girl told her father that this would be the first of several walks they would need to take. She felt fairly confident that he would be able to learn, what she referred to as…

The Seven Living Truths.

As she turned to walk away, the little girl had one more thing to say.

“Now remember dad, Lesson number one = All Are One.”

I don’t know when they will be coming back, but I will certainly keep my antlers out. Now I really must go see what all the noise is about over at the new raven’s nest.

See ya along the rocky trails.

Love,

Aunty Moose

About the Author

Aunty Moose is a native of New England who was raised along the north shore of Massachusetts. She has been called a granddaughter, a daughter, a mother and a grandmother. For the past nine years she has been given the privilege of introducing her granddaughter as the first of the fifth living generation. Aunty Moose would frequently find herself smack in the middle of of her grandparents stories of yesterdays world combined with her grand children's new and improved versions of today's world. Aunty Moose began to feel a great sense of loss as she listened to the once treasured family values fade into the hustle and bustle of everyday living. She could remember a time when a great day consisted of : A day trip to Rhode Island with her grandparents. Or a boating trip to misery island for a weekend of exploring the ocean and the sea shore. Or the highly anticipated two week summer vacation at the camp with lots of singing, fishing, cookouts and trips to the Kancamagus Highway.  However the typical family of today's world is forced to have two working parents in turn the act of spending quality time is replaced by a television or a new video game. Aunty Moose books are designed to create a healthy balance into the lives of today's children. Keeping in mind that we can never actually bring the past back, nor can we ignore the future of today's technology, but perhaps we can find a balance that could include both past and future into present time.
