The gang was made up of 4 farm boys,
a ghost, and two dogs — who made lots of noise.
There was a small white mule who could make you laugh tears
by flying around while “flapping” his long black ears.
The boys were called Lefty, Linney, Charlie, and Bo.
The ghost’s name had been Stitch Grinney — he had died long ago.
The dogs were named Sam and Bear —
both were black labs with dark short hair.
They roamed
having more adventures than you could ever count.
So, the scene is in place and the characters are met.
