Stephen Boyd Hughes was raised in a small town in south central Tennessee. Although he has lived in and visited many places throughout the United States, his heart has always been in his home town of Loretto in Lawrence County, Tennessee. His unique style of writing reflects his love of the rural South and of nature's abundant wildlife.
