About the Book
"Endangered Species" is a book that speaks to boys and young men, in particular. There are a great number of young men who have never had the experience or benefit of having a positive male role model and/or mentor involved in their lives for an extended period of time. The book itself serves like a mentor and provides sage advice, statistical data and empowering supportive content to help them realize the potential that can be reached regardless of environmental surroundings or economic status. It is timely, well written and truly inspirational. Everyone, from boys to men, to single mothers, etc... should read this book. It has a great message of empowerment for both those who need a mentor and/or role model, as well as for those who have the potential to become one.
About the Author
M' Roberts serves as an Author, Motivational Speaker and Humanitarian. Additionally, he demonstrates having a heart for people through volunteer efforts as a Mentor for boys and men, is very active in community outreach projects and is a co-founder of the Forgotten Ones Foundation (www.theforgottenones.org). His writing style is synonymous with the characteristics of his lifestyle - it is quite evident that he genuinely cares about people and is doing his part to have a positive impact on the lives of others; especially those who are disadvantaged. Other books he has written include "Holier than Thou" and "When Rage Doesn't Help."
There is a very genuine optimism that doesn't come across as "preachy" or "legalistic." He has a very unique way of communicating concern, information, humor and inspiration to his audience. It is his desire to help to break the cycle of young men and the family structure being torn apart as a result of being misinformed or misguided. Endangered Species serves as a great tool to help guide and inspire those who have never had a role model.
