Peter's Puzzling Purple Easter Egg

Pretty soon Peter was so excited about the Easter Egg---it seemed to grow and grow as the days went by, that he could hardly wait. Finally his mother said that they had one more week--- 7 days--- until Easter morning. During this week they would color Easter eggs, and get their Sunday clothes ready and say a special prayer. But Peter didn’t mind, he just watched his egg. And the Egg REALLY did grow---FOR REAL!!! Pretty soon that egg was the size of the table and the family had to eat around the egg. On the Friday before Easter Peter started to giggle. They  all looked pretty silly sitting around a great big purple  egg to eat dinner!
