Come with me on an adventure to peer into the future. Let’s look at the scriptures together and find the clues God has given to us. I want to put those pieces together and look at the story that I believe God wants us to know. I felt compelled to write this book to help us, the Christian Believer, hold on to our faith and trust in Jesus Christ during tumultuous times. For the believer, Christ says, “Hold fast and do not fear, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (John 14:27 and Matthew 28:20) “I will come back and bring you to where I am.” (John 14:1-4)
We are told in the scriptures that Christians will not go through the Tribulation. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath.” The Tribulation is the wrath of God poured out on a stubborn, rebellious mankind. The Bible says mankind is stubborn and rebellious against God and his ways. Those of us who are sorry and want to turn away from being selfish and ignoring God’s ways may accept the payment for our sin that Jesus made on our behalf. Then those of us who live to serve and please God and Jesus will be spared God’s wrath.
Most of us in America have heard the term “Rapture”. Let’s look at a simple definition of it. The Rapture is when Jesus appears in the clouds and takes all the believers out of the earth, the dead first, then those who are alive. He brings all believers in Jesus Christ up to heaven. It is my conclusion that the 7 year Tribulation begins after the Rapture of the believers. After reading this book, I pray it is your persuasion also.
In this book, I describe a different order in the story line of events for the End Times, Rapture and Tribulation than most popular writers and preachers today have expressed. This book describes what I passionately believe about how the sequence of events of the end of the age will unfold. I am no one special. I’m just an ordinary person who has a passion for God and his ways. I have an equal fervor for studying the scriptures. I want to share my conclusions with you, and take you on this journey with me.
Let’s read, enjoy, and rejoice, but mainly, let’s hold fast to our trust in Jesus Christ and his promises. We, Christian Believers, will not go through the Tribulation. We will be raptured out of the earth before the 7 year Tribulation period begins. We do not have to fear the events that must take place first. We will not have been left behind. Events may look like we are in the beginning of the Tribulation and we were not raptured. Some of us may lose our faith. I wrote this book to assure us that these events will take place, the Rapture is yet to come and then the 7 year Tribulation will follow the Rapture.
Matthew 24:4-13, “Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. (vs5) For many will come in my name, claiming ‘I am the Christ’, and will deceive many. (vs6) You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (vs7) Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (vs8) All these are the beginning of birth pains. (vs9) Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. (vs10) At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, (vs11) and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. (vs12) Because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold, (vs13) but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
One thing I have noticed repeatedly in the scriptures (of the Bible) is that just because events are listed next to each other does not necessarily mean that they happen in that exact chronological order. We must reference one scripture against other scriptures to see where they fit in chronologically. For instance, the prophesies that portray the events of Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection are all over the Old Testament. They are not in any particular order at all. There are pieces and bits found over several thousand years, written (inspired by God) by several different prophets. But when we read and study it all and put it on a timeline the points converge all on one life and point to Jesus Christ as the prophesized Messiah.
This also is how I have come up with my conclusions about the sequential order of the last days, Rapture and Tribulation. I will explain where the repeated prophesies converge and show a sequence different from the current popular view. I will conclude with a time line of events that I passionately believe Christians need to be aware of so we hold fast to our faith and do not fear.
For those of us who are not currently believers, come and join us. I pray you might read and ponder these events. If you happen to watch and see the Trumpet events unfolding, I plead with you to consider two things. First, the Bible asks us to accept Christ Jesus as our Savior and Lord, and get to know the words of God by reading what is written in the Bible. I recommend starting with the book of John in the New Testament. We must develop a personal relationship with Jesus by listening to Him through His written word – The Bible. We can talk to him through prayer (silently in our thoughts or whispering softly). He will hear our call to repentance and our wish to have our soul cleansed through the appropriation of Jesus’ shed blood on our behalf. Secondly, the Bible warns us, DO NOT under any circumstance (starvation, disease, fear or threat of death of ourselves or our loved ones), do not receive a mark on our hand or forehead to be able to buy and sell food or obtain goods and services.
May God Bless us all. Rejoice in God’s provision of Christ for us to be saved from the wrath of God’s judgment on mankind for all the sin and evil we do.
