This is a song about the sun.

When it arrives in the sky at morn,

the rooster on a high perch crows.

How do you do?”

At noon, when the sun

is at its highest,

giving all it’s got,

the blue jay, safe

in the shade of a tree, screams.

“Too hot! Too hot!”

As the sun sets,

the blackbird roosting

in its nest

makes itself heard.

“See you in the morning.”
