About the Author

I have written three other books of fiction. This will be my fourth and I wanted to do a different genre to get a feeling for what I like writing best of all, so I chose to write about animals because I care about them dearly. My love of writing started when I was quite young, but several years ago during a personal crisis in Florida during a hurricane, I turned to writing seriously and found my passion turned into love for the art. Writing is a part of me now and who I am. I live in Colorado with my husband and three maltese pets. We moved here five years ago from Florida and I do enjoy the dry climate. My special interests are Tai Chi, studying ASL (American Sign Language) and fitness. I walk daily and love to hike with friends. Music is important to me and I enjoy opera, pop and 50's music.
