When God’s Word is hid in our heart, it makes it hard for the devil to wage war in our minds. A Word-filled heart will empower hands to do right, eyes to see right, feet to walk right, ears to hear right, and minds to think right. The heart is the dressing room for words and emotions, which in turn are acted out on the stage of life. Talley contends that life must be faced with a power that is beyond anything man possesses. That power is found only in God’s Word. About the Author

Dr. Clarence Talley, Sr. is Professor of Art at Prairie View A & M University and an ordained minister at Mount Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Hempstead, Texas, the World Christianship Ministries, and the United Christian Faith Ministries. He received a B.A. from Southern University, an M.F.A. from Louisiana State University, an M.A. from Houston Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctorate of Biblical Studies from Master’s International School of Divinity. Dr. Talley is also a noted visual artist and a Fulbright-Hays Scholar. He is the author of: The Call for the Prophet, A Call from God and Is It True: Reflections from the Word of God, Lie after Lie after Lie: A Study in 2 Kings 5, God in the Land of Ghana: He’s Everywhere and Jesus Christ Made Straight A’s Dr. Talley and his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Ann, reside in Prairie View, Texas. They are blessed with two children, Clarence Jr. and Crystal Ann.
