-Reflection- A river. A sea. A mirror. Reflects what we see. She's telling me about my life, She's telling me what I should do, She criticizes me constantly, A reflection on who? The things that comes out her mouth, I wonder if she has a clue, 'Cause the same thing she's saying to me, Should be a reflection on who? You telling me about your relationships, Sometimes I don't wanna know, Then you get pregnant with a baby From the man you refuse to let go. Don't have the best finances, 'Cause you taking care of a man, Neglecting everything around you, And criticizing my life plan. You wanna judge and talk about people, That's in the same situation as you, Telling them what they should do, But it should a reflection on who? See, because what you saying about me, You saying about someone else, But the same things you saying about them, You should be saying about yourself!

“The Truth Untold” includes a set of poems describing personal situations and life changing events. The contents within this book describe realistic situations aimed for mature readers.
About the Author
Kaiesha has been writing poetry for over 9 years. Now within her second book, she continues to write about issues that African Americans face within society but also within our own communities. She has been honored for her poetic achievements. She loves writing poetry because she can express her point-of-view freely.
