THE CLOSETS OF MY MIND Somewhere in the closets of my mind are infinite treasures, or else I have lived before. For in my dreams I have lived incredible scenarios which I could not possibly have imagined. Some nights I dream of far away places... of mountain vistas so breathtaking they could only be real. Some nights I dream of houses and castles so magnificently furnished that I awake in awe of my mind. Perhaps I should be directing screenplays of day of old, for some nights I dream scripts I couldn't possibly have written. I've flown a plane in my dreams, drowned in a river, and worn exquisite Victorian gowns. I can't help but wonder, especially when I talk to other people who say that they never dream, do I have an overactive imagination, or do the closets of my mind contain tidbits of life already lived?

About the Book
These poems were written over a period of years. They were begun after a series of career decisions of paramount importance were made and continued through a time of great renewal. Some are funny, some are sad, some are meant to be thoughtful and introspective, and some are whimsical. So, enter, if you dare, the closets of my mind. When you finish, you will feel like you know the author. So stop by if you want to. She'll leave the light on for you, and might even whip up a little something delicious. She's like that, you know.
About the Author
Rosemary Gossett Adams grew up in Hot Springs, AR. She has three degrees...a BA, MA, and AAS. She has been an art teacher, a mommy, a commercial interior designer, and a self-appointed watcher of hummingbirds (in that order). She currently lives in Louisville, KY, and has one husband, one son and daughter-in-law, one granddaughter, one dog, and three cats. She likes to cook, garden, and craft. She says sleeping is one of the things she does best. She dreams such vivid dreams, she sometimes confuses them with reality. Otherwise, she is fairly normal.
