About the Book

These God-inspired poems were given to me from God to heal the soul, and bring deliverance to the weary spirit. It wasn't until i surrendered my heart to God that i realized that He was using my life experiences as footprints for those who would go through the same things that i've been through. He allowed me to go through trials and tribulations to be a blessing to others through poetic writing.This book was written to send healing to those who struggle with fear, insecurity, low-self esteem, depression, oppression, rejection,and negativity. It's my desire to know that through these beautiful collective poems, someone is being delivered, and healed from past and present wounds. I Pray that you will enjoy them as much as i do.. About the Author

Kimberly Mechelle McAllister was born the fourth and last child to Mr. David L. Dunmore and Mrs. Patricia L. Dunmore on January 14, 1968 in Hampton Virginia. She was welcomed with love from many aunts and uncles (The Dunmore Clan) and the (Pope Clan). After the separation of her mother and father, her mother moved to (New Cassel), Westbury, N.Y. when she was only five years old. And it was there where her mother raised her and her siblings, (Constance Dunmore Weeks, David Dunmore, and Calvin Dunmore). It was from that point that her and her family became members of the United Methodist Church, where she participated in different activities. She found herself being able to express herself in her writing. As a student of the Westbury Elementary School she was introduced even more to the creativity of writing and fell in love with it. She began to enter into different writing contest and received awards in first, second or third place .Upon graduating in 1986 from Westbury High School, she and her high school sweetheart gave birth to their first child (Andre Turner). In 1988 they celebrated the birth of their second child (Sade Turner). Kimberly found the strength to end the relationship. She then moved to Hempstead, NY. And began to pursue her career as a Nurse Aide. While in Hempstead she reconnected with her childhood sweetheart. A few months later they were married and months later she gave birth to her third child (Shaneque Dunmore). It was during the marriage that Kimberly surrendered her life to the Lord.

Months later the two decided to divorce. During that time God began to mold her into the woman that he wanted her to be for her now Husband, Gary McAllister. With sixteen years of marriage God has blessed them with three children, (Shanel McAllister, Shanea McAllister, and Saundra McAllister). They are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren. She also pursued her career as a Licensed Real Estate Agent and worked in that field for some time. She is mentored at Christian Charity Deliverance Church under the Leadership of the Servant of The Most High God, Norris Porter.
