About the Book

Gemma over hears her father saying something about a treasure and her brother, Griffin. She assumes Griffin is the guard of a treasure and decides to try to get Griffin to lead her to the treasure. When Griffin leads her to an unexpected treasure, Gemma becomes upset. However, she soon realizes the truth about what she overheard.

About the Author

Shannon K. Mazurick has loved writing since a young age. She graduated Avon High School in 2004 and The University of Saint Joseph (previously Saint Joseph College) in 2008. Mazurick received her Bachelors Degree in English with a minor in Psychology. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters Degree through Quinnipiac University. Gemma: The Treasure Hunt With Griffin is Mazurick’s fourth published book. She is the proud author of Poetry As The Year Goes By, Reflective Poetry: Petals of the Heart, and Gemma: The Search for the Gem. Mazurick wrote this book in hopes of illustrating how everyone is an individual and everyone has a purpose in life.
