About the Author
Gossett traveled the state of Texas for thirty years, selling steel products and making many friends. One of these friends was a retired Texas Ranger, who shared his adventures, and some of them are repeated in this book. Though Gossett now lives in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he still maintains his membership in the American Legion Alamo Post number 2 and the Texas Library Association.
