Lisa P Whitaker and Dr. Kimberly Pettaway Willis are Tarboro, NC natives. Lisa is an inspirational writer of poetry for cancer and Faith. She discovered this phenomenal passion for creative writing and has received awards for her outstanding work. She is married and a mother of three. Dr. Pettaway Willis is a CEO of two businesses, mother of twins, wife of an 8 year NFL Veteran and loves giving back to her community. She has received numerous awards for community and charitable cancer work, and she focuses on donating to various types of cancer research. She received her B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.S. and Ph.D. from The Florida State University.
