As a rule, he never made plans ahead of time about what kind of woman he would meet and, hopefully, bring home for the night. He knew that making plans like that would never work. It was often the luck of the draw – being in the right place at the right time. Call it an accident of fate, if you will, but the fact was, if you were a man looking for a particular type of woman, you would never find her. You had to be open to meeting many different women and then, sometimes you “lucked out” and found someone you just clicked with. That’s when you knew that she was the one for you - because she was responding to that “special something” that you were never aware of before, but obviously possessed. As a man on the make, you did not always want to show a woman how special you were, but when the right woman came along, you somehow found it in yourself to be the man that you thought she might be looking for. It really is funny how life operates, isn’t it? Conner surmised. If it’s meant to be, it will be….and all the planning and preparation in the world was not going to help when it came to finding her.

About the Book
This is my second collection of short stories. These stories are about people, their relationships and the many things in life that affect them. For example, love, sex, marriage, divorce, betrayal seduction and murder. Some other topics covered are alcoholism, drug addiction and identity theft, with the primary emphasis on the impact these things have on people’s lives. About the Author
I have been writing short stories since the mid-to-late 1990s, but mostly since 2004. I published my first book called “My Short Stories (Book One)” in 2011. I am currently employed full time as a teacher at Albert Campbell Collegiate in Scarborough, Ontario. I teach mostly computer studies subjects, but have also taught careers. This coming year, I will be teaching business, as well. I have taught full time for over 13 years. I’ve attended both university and college full time and have done well in my English, social science and computer science courses. I am proud to be both a mother and a grandmother. I currently live in Ajax, Ontario where I have lived for the last 3 1/2 years. I have two roommates who are as much family to me as my own family members.
