About the Book

“Simply Me” is collection of poems that I wrote with GOD as my inspiration. The source of writing this book came from my two daughters’ in-law and five beautiful grand children who are the main source of my happiness and the love of my life. GOD truly blessed me and guided my thoughts in writing this. My one desire is to live a purpose driven life in Christ.

About the Author

I am a graduate of RALPH J. BUNCHE HIGH SCHOOL in Crockett , Texas. I recieved a BS.ED in American History and English Language Arts from JARVIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE IN HAWKINS TEXAS and a M.ED in Guidance and Counseling from PRAIRIE VIEW A&M UNIVERSITY in Prairie View Texas. I was a teacher of high school english and history for twenty five years and a high school counselor for fifteen years. I retired from GALENA PARK ISD. in June of 2013. I have two sons, Christopher and Shannon Kyle. I have two daughters in- law, and five beautiful grand children. They are the main source of my happiness and the loves of my life. I am truly blessed of God. I am a dedicated member of CHARITY FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH in Houston, Texas. My one desire is to live a purpose driven life in Christ.
