About the Book

The stories in this book are real unless otherwise indicated. The "Happenings" are real. Some seem too far out of the ordinary to be real or true, but they are true. This book "Happenings" is stories and memories of friends, acquaintances and kinfolk through out my life. Some are funny, some are sad, but they all were "Happenings".

About the Author

I have either lived or been part of the "Happenings" and stories or they were told to me first hand. I taught school for some 28 years and some of these experiences happened with my students during this time. I read all types of literature , history, biographies, auto-biographies, informational, and pleasure novels. I live in Rosenberg, Texas with my wife of 67 years, Kathryn Joan Reese. We have one daughter, Connie and three grandchildren, Robert, Brooke and Nicolette. We have a river home "Stage Coach Crossing", on the Brazos River for pleasure. Our greatest pleasure is having family and friends visit us and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
