Welcome to Lifestyle Solutions for a Happy Healthy You!
This book was created as a place where I can share with you my knowledge about healthy and eco-friendly living. The solutions on these pages are compiled from my own quest for healthy living. You have no doubt read countless books from the self-help, diet, and fitness sections of your local bookstore, in which the author encourages you to “Think big!”, “Take charge!”, “Make the commitment!”, or “Do it today!” But when it comes to learning how to embrace a lifestyle that is kinder to yourself and to Mother Earth, my approach is a little different… I would actually encourage you to think small.
You see, through my own life experiences, I have learned that it is the simple acts that can have the greatest impact. I have learned a lot from living on a daily basis with my allergies to foods and airborne allergens/pollens, as well as my exposure to multiple chemicals. And I have discovered that you can live well, no matter what obstacles you face. Because of these experiences, I am convinced that our health is the product of the hundreds of seemingly small choices we make every day… from the food we eat to the products we use (on our bodies and in our homes), right down to the way we talk to ourselves. It all matters. Furthermore, I believe that excellent health… not just physical, but spiritual, emotional, relational, and mental health… is found along your journey, not just at your destination.
My goal in writing this book is to share what I have learned with you so that you can start living your happiest, healthiest life ever… your best life! If you learn just one thing here that helps you to make a positive difference in your life, my goal has been accomplished.
