About the Book

Many of you will know me by my birth name, Marian Adejokun. I have other names which have been given to me by friends and family: Faith, Testimony, Blessing, Miracle, Mary Mary, Sister Bernadette, and Mini-Mommy. I am just an ordinary person who has gone through trials and tribulations just like you. I have overcome many obstacles from birth up till now, and I thank God I am still standing. I pray my book will be an eye-opener to many of you guys who may be going through the storm. I just want you all to look at the positive side of life and know that no matter what battle you are facing in life, there’s always going to be a way out so long as you give your battle to the Lord, keep running the race of life, and keep your hope alive. I believe it took the grace of God to get me to where I am today. I am no better than any of you. We all live and learn every day, the good and the bad. Just know that we all have our own purpose in life—a purpose that could transform someone else’s life forever.

About the Author

Marian Adejokun is a twenty-two-year-old young woman, the oldest of three siblings. Marian is in university and on her way to earning a BA in early childhood studies. Marian is also the publisher of her other book titled “ReachOut2All,” which is a daily devotional book. She wants to go into primary teaching as she loves working with children and finds doing so a rewarding yet life-changing experience. She believes making a difference in a child’s life makes her happy; children always remember what you have done for them. Marian’s mission and divine purpose in life is to be an inspiration to many youth. She does this by ministering, encouraging, blessing, and embracing young people with the Word of God. Marian also works within her church congregation. She works with the children in Sunday school and performs Christian prophetic dances with her family. Although Marian is young in her years, her life’s journey so far has been a living testimony. If not for the hand of God and her belief in his Word, she wouldn’t be here today. Despite her once being near death, the skin all over her body peeling off because of a rare deadly allergic reaction to eye drops, she stands here today as a fighter, a handmaiden of Jesus Christ, to reach out to the youth and tell them what God has done for her and to showcase God’s light. Marian writes, “Be a leader, not a follower. Be the first and not the last. Be above and not beneath. Be a success and not a failure. I have a vision. I’m on a mission Because that’s my God-given decision.” Marian’s website is located at www.marianadejokunfoundation.com.
