About the Author
Lydia Bongcaron Wade is an author of three books published by Authorhouse. She was a teacher of Home Economics in the Philippines for many years and worked as Contract Education Officer in Nigeria for nine years.When her contract ended, she worked in the U.S. for 22 years as Tutor, then as Entitlement Specialist, Nutrition Education and English As a Second Language teacher; also handled Citizenship Classes in four Senior Centers funded by the Department for the Aging in Queens, New York. She has three married children and five grandchildren, all residing in the U.S. She currently lives in Neighborhood 31, Del Webb, Sun City, Huntley Illinois. Now retired and widowed, her preoccupation is traveling within the United States and abroad. When not traveling, she spends leisure by writing poetry, essays and books.
