Poison Past We all have a past that we sometimes leave behind but the thing is here a lot of us come to this point where we leave the past behind of us, into thinking that was just it that the storm is over. Most will say that the past is the past so we ought to leave it behind of us. I definitely agree with this but my only concern is how did you walk away? The thing is here that most of us do not know that you cannot just walk away from it. And do as if nothing happened I am sorry to disappoint you but it just don’t go like that. Imagine you’re just sitting there and someone just came across and hitting you and throwing a punch at you where you do not have no clue why they reacting that way towards you. So how can you just be sitting and just let someone hit you and just walk away and forget about it? That is critical insanity and not even finding out why or what may happen that he or her come to such a point into hitting you. Then you are just a madman. I don’t mean to be harsh or rude I’m just trying to bring a point. You’re past is just like when you are in a video game of stages you need to past the first level before you can elevate to the next level. I can recall when I was younger and use to play video game, one of the games I always find myself struggling with is the famous super Mario. I guess most of you are familiar with it there was a stage in this game I always struggle with even though at times I may move on to the next level at times but every time I will come across this stage I always stumble and struggle with it. But now that I am mature and have a better understanding I came to understand why every time I always struggle on that particular stage and it always haunts me. It was simply because I never mastered and conquered it effectively. Because of me not being able to master and overcome it, it will always have me capitalized when coming across it so I move unto the next stage but never mastered the first one. I will call this a dysfunctional game player this is what happens to so many of us that have or had past experiences we move on while we are still holding on to the past so you do not just turn your back on it, you got to kill it so it don’t come back. This is why so many of us end up in the “why is this happening to me again situation” we never find the cause or the core to why did this happened in the first place at times we always ignore it or by pass or miss-pass it. First we must accept the way it is, fix it and master it, in that way you will have a better understanding and you will be able to master the stage of the game better. So when it comes back you are ready and prepared and know how to manoeuvre it and with it. This is why that specific stage in the videogame comes to haunts me. I was ignoring the fact that I myself never overcome and surpass that stage completely in order for me master it. I firmly condone you to don’t leave it until you kill it your past is the key to the next stage in your life until you surpass it you won’t be able to manoeuvre well in it towards the future. “To be that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life” (revelations 2:7) I don’t think I can be clearer than that your pass must be overcome in order to eat the blessings of life. Most folks are living life but they are not eating and not getting the blessings that it has to offer. So many of us who hold unto the past, some are not even aware of it, one of the tragedy in today’s society is folks who come out of a personal and intimate relationship are some past occurrences of the other at times carry their past with them thinking it is behind them while it’s really in them. To many of us say it is over but yet we still hold on the pain and hurt that is already in the back of our shoulders you leave him but you’re still bitter and angry at him and what he did. She left you feeling down and broken so you become heart stoned towards the next one that come. Leaving and walking away is not the end, the end is not when you leave but it is when you let go. This is why we move on to the next a partner or whatever struggle we faced in life and find ourselves in the same boat as before is because it is like we are carrying our backpack along with us, with all the old books from the 1st grade. What you must understand is that you are in a new class now so you need to get a new backpack with some new books we got to let it go. Holding on will only get you to the last place you don’t want to go. So my friends I condone you to let it go, if you want it to go.
