Fact and fiction waltz together. The author through years of research has gleaned and pieced together enough material to render her own interpretation of the amazing life story of her parents. Set in World War 2, tragedy struck. Two lives collided and afforded an opportunity to make something great together. About the Author

The author grew up in unusual circumstances in post-war Britain in a small seaside town. Having a foreign mother and war-blinded father gave her an alternative perspective on life. Marie-Louise having lived with the finished products was curious to find the raw materials from which her parents were hewn, and dug deeper into the family history: Quite a discovery indeed.
