About the Book

This book is the love of my mother’s memories for everyone to enjoy. The little community isn’t as hustle and bustle as it used to be and there aren’t that many people there anymore, but there is in the memories that are in this book. The memories and the photos will live forever. This book will be in the Stuttgart Public Library and the DeWitt Public Library.

About the Author

Born and raised in Arkansas County, Arkansas. Began writing poetry at the age of eight years old. continued to write and began writing little short stories around the age of ten, then quit a little, then started writing again then at the age of thirteen years old. Started being bullied at school and kept journals of the bullied and knockdowns that the boys gave me. Kept writing and have been to this day. Graduate of Stuttgart high School during 1969 and graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock by the year 2001. Has been working at the Daily Leader since June 10, 2002.
