It is rare to find someone who says they never dream. Most dreams are nonsensical and quickly forgotten, but for some people dreaming is a significant emotional event that negatively affects their morale for days. These people dread going to bed at night and pray for dreams that take them to a good place. Commander Adam Johnson woke up one morning and discovered his conscious and unconscious minds had been switched. While awake, he was in an endless day mare. As time passed, careers were threatened and loved ones endangered. He soon discovered he was not going crazy. His mind had been altered by scientists working on a top secret government project code named ‘Night Quest’. This book is a fast paced chronical about mind control, dream states, alternate realities and the transformation of Adam Johnson by a covert syndicate into an experimental super human they named REM Man. Their objective was to control the world.

About the Author

J. Wayne Stillwell was educated as a scientist and Engineer, served 34 years as a Naval Officer then completed a second career as Vice President of an R&D company. He is currently an independent consultant and fiction writer. He authored his first science fiction book, “Xetonian Trades” in 2003. A second edition of the same book, “Xetonian Trades I, The Seeding”; “Xetonian Trades, The Augerite Hordes”; “Xetonian Trades III, The Reapers”; “Xetonian Trades IV, Infinity’s Gate”; his first romance novel, “Ten Months”; and “Bus 22, the Search for Me”, were published by Authorhouse in 2013 and 2014. “Invisible Contact”, “Making Lemonade out of everything” and “The Cavern Club” were published in 2015. He and his spouse of 48 years, Bernadette, have two sons, John and Matthew and four grandchildren.
