About the Book

This book is a story of a boy and his friend who happens to be a kangaroo rat. They journey to Australia to meet a real kangaroo so KC can see how much they are alike.

About the Author

Virginia Upton has had a very adventurous life. She has had a career as a nurse, prison guard and semi truck driver. She is also a grandmother. This is her favorite career. She told stories to her grandkids as they grew up and has decided to put them into books so other kids can enjoy them too.
