About the Book

The power of the ocean has always resonated in my soul. I am a retired primary teacher of 36 years and I am enjoying my experiences as a photographer of nature and author of eight children’s books. I have a love for the beauty we can see every day, no matter where we live. Just open your eyes wide and breath. Life is good!

About the Author

Cindy is a retired primary teacher who spent thirty-six years sharing good literature with young children. She has published four books about an historic sheep trail in Arizona, a book about the wild horses of the Lower Salt River near Mesa, Arizona, a books of poems sharing her love for the seasons in the Arizona desert, and a book of poems about animal life in and near the ocean. This new book introduces you to Sammy, a newborn otter in Morro Bay, CA as he tells you about growing up and going out into the ocean with the skills he was taught by his mother. I hope you enjoy getting to know Sammy and his view of life in the ocean.
