About the Author

Brenda Scott, noted poet, playright, and author from Tampa and Sneads Florida...is listed for her accomplishments in National and International Libraries, Universities research institutes, media centers for her many publications such as the following: Who’s Who in the world, Medal of Honor for Writing, Famous Poet Award, International Peace Prize for Writing, just a short list...Poetry includes down home news/poetry blues; Ms. Scott has received the living legend award, lifetime achievement award in poetry. She loves playwrighting, published plays a principal's affair, hey there neighbor, first stage L.A, California (L.A.) In addition to writing Ms. Scott has served as a TCC/FAMU adjunct college instructor, WGHS-West Gadsden Teacher/Track Coach/Famu Asst. Track Coach/Legendary Coach Harry Jacobs at FAMU DRS/SNEADS Track Coach, currently she is on the substitute list in highlands&okeechobee county schools. Ms. Scott, the daughter of Felicia Lopez-Scott and Alonzie Scott is an alumnus of TCC/Tallahassee Comm. College and FSU ­Florida State University. Listed on the Florida Humanities council presenters for speaking engagements, Oral African­ American history. Ms. Scott is an avid reader, loves movies writing, sports, family reunions. She is currently working on a novel in progress fall/or spring release.
