Grandmother giant was so shocked she yelled out in excitement, "Ahhhh" but quickly helped the bean people up and onto the counter and apologized. "I'm so sorry, we didn't know you lived in these beans" The bean people replied, "That's OK, we love beans too." They then offered to help the giants find new beans they all could eat.

The Jumping Beans displays unity and joy of a group of people, the giants, and the realization that they are not alone or the only type of people in the world. The discovery of the bean people unites the two groups and forces them to work together for both their basic needs, food. The Jumping Beans provides a fun way to show children that different people can join together for a common goal.
About the Author
Growing up in a small town in Arkansas and then transitioning into the city life of Memphis, TN, I found that life comes in many different varieties. I wanted to include my sons young imagination into that and tell a story that shows two very different groups of people joining together for a common goal. I believe that we sometimes take the small things in life for granted and this book is me trying not to do that. I owe this book to my upbringing and to a simple story before bedtime.
