About the Book
This journal was a vision the Lord gave to me. He told me, it was going to be a must have. That everyone will want to have it. I smiled, and laughed within myself. Telling the Lord, “I receive it.” From the title, the cover, and the contents. The vision was very clear. The Lord will not give you an assignment without the directions going forward. He wanted a way to help others heal. That my testimony, poems, and the scriptures. Will help encourage, and uplift the person reading them. In hopes that along the way they might have that breakthrough from the Lord. Philippians 4:6-7 says, (6) Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (7) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Stay on the wall, and never give up. Nehemiah was given the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Stay focused on what God has called you to do. Remain steadfast and trust in His plan. For Life is worth the living, because He lives!
About the Author
I would like to take you on my journey. A journey of faith, joy, trials, and tribulations. But the tenacity to endure through it all. When my mother was pregnant with me, she was very ill. The doctor told her, one of us might not make it. That she needed to make a decision of carrying me to term. She told the doctor, she knew a doctor named Jesus. That her faith in Him was bigger than any faith in man. Because there’s nothing impossible for God. My mother asked the Lord for strength to get down on her knees to pray for us. We both made it through. So begins my journey of faith, and prayer. I had a mother that prayed for me. I was born with a heart murmur. When I was 11, I had to wear a back brace for 5 years. Because I had scoliosis. But during this time, the most wonderful thing happened. The Lord gave me the gift to write poetry. As I grew, so did my writing. In 1988, I married my best friend Jerome. I have three wonderful children. Tacarea, Mykia, and Jerome L. In 2001, I had breast cancer for the first time. In 2009, I was put in a medically induced coma for 4 days, and on a ventilator. Resulting from a blood transfusion. I was taken off on my son’s 11th birthday. Nothing happens by chance, when the Lord is over your life. In 2020, I had breast cancer for the second time. I had 6 months of chemo treatments. In 2021, I had 5 weeks of radiation treatments. As of today, I am Cancer Free. So when you see me praising His name. Just know my worship is for real!
