About the Book
In this book, Augustin Ngirabatware recounts… He concludes his presentation and his analysis by nourishing the hope of seeing something of what he thinks is a true international criminal justice ringing in the ears of the main stakeholders of this justice in the Rwandan tragedy of 1994.
About the Author
Augustin NGIRABATWARE is of Rwandan nationality. He holds a PhD in economics from University of Fribourg (Switzerland) where he was assistant. Former part-time Lecturer at National University of Rwanda (1986-1994) and Minister of Planning of Rwanda (1990-1994), Ngirabatware served two terms as President of the Africa-Caribean- Pacific Council of Ministers (1991-1992). He was lecturer at University Omar Bongo/IST and at the Institute of Economy and Finance in Libreville, Gabon (1994-1997). A. Ngirabatware was a Researcher-Consultant at the OECD Development Center in Paris, France (1998-1999). Detained at the UN Detention Center in Arusha (Tanzania) since October 2008, he was transferred to the ICTR Detention Unit in Senegal in July 2021.
