Dr. Matthew R. Kerzner is a renowned expert in family business consulting, organizational development, and succession planning. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Kerzner has dedicated his career to helping family-owned and closely held businesses navigate the complexities of succession planning, financial stability, sustainability, and human performance management. Currently serving as the Principal and Managing Director at the New England Center for Family Business Excellence (NECFBE), Dr. Kerzner works with clients to develop strategic plans that address both the business and family dynamics to ensure successful succession plans and long-term prosperity. Dr. Kerzner’s approach emphasizes organizational health through business development, operational efficiency, and people development. Services offered at NECFBE include Strategic Human Resource Consulting, Family Business Advising, Conflict Resolution & Relational Mediation, Leadership Development & Executive Coaching and Board Development. Before founding NECFBE, Dr. Kerzner was a Managing Director at Eisner Amper Advisory LLC, where he led strategic human resource services. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and multiple degrees in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Labor Relations from The University of New Haven and Nichols College.
