About the Book
ABOUT THE BOOK This is a book of poetry which consist of three sections, anti-violence and war, non-religious spirituality and a few other things. It starts with a poem about Gallipoli Campaign in which the focus is on teenage soldiers on both sides of the campaign. Both my grand fathers were in Gallipoli and that is why I made it the starting point. Section two contains about variety of things. Last part is about non-religious spirituality which does not focus on any organized faith. Altogether the book contains 47 poems some are long some are quite short.
About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR The author was born and brought up in Istanbul. After graduating from Marmara university, he won a scholarship to do master and doctorate degrees in economics in Britain. His MS.c was in Swansea university of Wales where he met his future wife. He completed his doctorate Leicester university of England then off ered a teaching post at Ulster university in Northern Ireland. He also taught at universities of Swansea, London, Honk Kong and European Academy of Berlin. Apart from this one he is the author of 8 books published in England and USA. Some of his books have been translated into a number of foreign languages including Chinese. In 2012 and 2013he was nominated for Environmental Nobel Prize (ENI Award). His main leisure activity is hill walking and bridge playing.
